I've found the opening CAQRA2010 workshop very beneficial with Susanne Friese offering a comprehensive comparative analyses of several CAQDAS packages. It's always satisfying to be in the company of qualitative researchers, both novices and veterans in CAQDAS-use.

The QRPM2010 conference on qualitative research & applied policy research has come at a vitally useful time for me, both in regard to my own research on European Identity and to ARK, a research access body for Northern Ireland that I help direct.

QRPM2010 was a well-organised conference. The small size conference enabled me to interact with a wide range of researchers who I would not normally have come into contact with.

This 1st International Seminar on Computer-Aided Qualitative Research, 2008, was an important initiative in advancing qualitative research knowledge using computer software. Participants at the seminar raised current issues such as how to incorporate multimedia data in both qualitative software and qualitative research analyses, showcased (and debated) a number of creative ways to use software in research, and was an important venue for networking. A mix of relatively experienced and relatively novice researchers contributed to the synergy and interaction of this two-day seminar. I highly recommend the format, size and venue for future computer-aided qualitative research seminars.

I attended the "Using Software in Qualitative Data Analysis" workshop organised by Jasper. The workshop provided me with an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues and discuss issues related to the software. Jasper, and his team's, organisational skills were excellent. The event flowed well, met the timings and was professionally organised. Jasper was both flexible and responsive to the needs of the participants!
